We all know how much I like to knit pointless animals, but they're so darn cute. Plus I'll soon have a kid to play with my goofy toys. This guy is from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Knitty's</span> summer issue and it's designed by a woman from St Paul who shares an obsession with Deadliest Catch with me. I put him in the state fair and he got 3rd place, I'm so proud of my little guy! He now lives on the dashboard of my car to navigate us through traffic or to make me smile when I get road rage.katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com25tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-73768374581810238472009-12-02T21:31:00.000-08:002009-12-02T21:37:13.509-08:00Shelly Belly Melody Hat<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjUXfo1m051ux6Hjg01722OBN8lZVelxbit7jkl2TWZqqteU9EGU7wOdRe8V__Fi5oEHdP5hZ2kqKxg8PC7uvRQn1upknQj96u95Yl9jP7Si9JBpel-Zs6K17nFKhYqgxrKFQDdVgtV4Bo/s1600-h/DSCN0282.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjUXfo1m051ux6Hjg01722OBN8lZVelxbit7jkl2TWZqqteU9EGU7wOdRe8V__Fi5oEHdP5hZ2kqKxg8PC7uvRQn1upknQj96u95Yl9jP7Si9JBpel-Zs6K17nFKhYqgxrKFQDdVgtV4Bo/s320/DSCN0282.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410878650691657890" border="0" /></a><br />This pattern was awesome. You can't really tell from the pic, but the top of the orange section was very pointy. I was grateful the purple neatened that right up! The pattern is from Lace Style and I used Gems Opal, the sport merino wool. I was kinda bitter for a few days when I found out I was running out of purple. You see-I debated over the color scheme until I settled on the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">purple</span> because that one came in a 50 gram hank (the last one by the way)-which the pattern calls for- lo and behold the hat takes more than 50 <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">frickin</span> grams of yarn. So not only did I <em>not</em> use the color I really wanted (peacock), but I had to buy a 100 gram hank of the purple...in a different dye lot!! This is a sweater that I started earlier this winter for my sweetheart. It is made from Magpie by Rowan. I love knitting with it, although it is a bit scratchy. Chris put it on and gave me the funniest look, "it's itchy" (in a whiny, pathetic voice). I know it will get much softer after it has been washed. The good thing is that we are about the same size so I will gain a new sweater if he doesn't like it! I finished one of the sleeves but I am blogging about it to give myself motivation to finish it. I am in a "starting-a-new-project" mood; so I am trying to get excited for my old projects in order to keep me from bringing home some <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Elsebeth</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Lavold</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Bamboucle</span> to cast on for a summer top. If you've seen me around out in the cold you would know I am telling the truth! This pattern is called fanning the flames, it's a type of domino knitting. I love this technique because you just can't put it down, you always want to do one more section. At <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Borealis</span> we just got a new pattern in for a blanket using the domino or <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">mosaic</span> knitting, I have been inspired by both of these projects to make a blanket using all of my leftover scrap yarn from socks. Including the leftovers of these mittens.<br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-90784895587301242008-04-01T10:10:00.001-07:002008-04-03T16:38:17.351-07:00Oklahoma!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHomqVhGjljMwQBviXF09o0155M6VgF2ZOBm_jO1-P3WiCQBr3HRfvAJdH0PKKzuutT5QU2tGWPvV7eAKl6X3hCD4k8ODKZEQMhO9o22_v4RX-koQANK5FJSMXu1whFBHRuanxxGlSgTHp/s1600-h/100_2675.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5184325998220647314" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHomqVhGjljMwQBviXF09o0155M6VgF2ZOBm_jO1-P3WiCQBr3HRfvAJdH0PKKzuutT5QU2tGWPvV7eAKl6X3hCD4k8ODKZEQMhO9o22_v4RX-koQANK5FJSMXu1whFBHRuanxxGlSgTHp/s320/100_2675.JPG" border="0" /></a> Oklahoma was everything it's cracked up to be...nothing. We went down there for Chris' cousin's wedding. We made a good time out of a lot of bad situations, but I'm glad to be home. This is the fine chapel at a truck stop somewhere in <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Missouri</span>, one of my more interesting photos (besides the wedding). The oil pump with Chris down below was in the front yard of the ranch where the wedding was held, who knew? The lovers mittens I made for them was a huge hit. The two projects I am looking at both use size 9 needles. Now I know I have several size 9 needles, but I can't risk permenantly abandoning the projects from which I would strip these needles from. I have picked up the aran coat I started last winter which is pictured here. It is on size 9 needles...but then Chris started asking me about his sweater that I also started last winter, damn that one is on 6's. I am glad to say there is progress on both sweaters. I completed the front of the aran coat and started with another sleeve, then I will have the other front and the collar to go.<br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-30423894944675656642008-01-27T10:02:00.000-08:002008-01-27T10:08:49.450-08:00Fair Isle Fever<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJT4RNevDo-uKWPT42hVTiZdEurKKyc7IV2k_JCyeDyAryBQ04jBlOTLwmr6nmyykr6-mYblljmErpT-8EuB8tbv2NDpJpWNFZjkpPdeKOwdKaRfmtqXAiUrC7DgOin09J7o3cPcKw4Xso/s1600-h/100_2406.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5160218632487423954" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJT4RNevDo-uKWPT42hVTiZdEurKKyc7IV2k_JCyeDyAryBQ04jBlOTLwmr6nmyykr6-mYblljmErpT-8EuB8tbv2NDpJpWNFZjkpPdeKOwdKaRfmtqXAiUrC7DgOin09J7o3cPcKw4Xso/s320/100_2406.JPG" border="0" /></a> I think fair isle fever is an appropriate explanation for what I've been going through. I want to give you proof of another finished project so I would feel justified plotting for this delicious yarn. It comes with a generous amount of yarn so I am thinking of a long cardigan with wide seed stitch bands and maybe a nice detail in back with cables.<br /><br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-52331169507891778782008-01-24T21:52:00.000-08:002008-01-24T22:03:25.163-08:00Bubble Sweater<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCBeIj9NiKdOZqS91yjq3DTOqre3b2YbQsQ_mxXUKKSKrfz2HFk8tGVSk6H-E3VdqRLNJ8y8t2fADr6xkzcAFjL7iteA5m3aXr3tiKGwcXf5j4g-TR0ShrRQ8ARdI0J46l2cGa-orN2bEM/s1600-h/100_2400.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5159288470648205666" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCBeIj9NiKdOZqS91yjq3DTOqre3b2YbQsQ_mxXUKKSKrfz2HFk8tGVSk6H-E3VdqRLNJ8y8t2fADr6xkzcAFjL7iteA5m3aXr3tiKGwcXf5j4g-TR0ShrRQ8ARdI0J46l2cGa-orN2bEM/s320/100_2400.JPG" border="0" /></a> Another finished object under the belt! This sweater was really fun to knit because of the interesting construction. It is a design from Norah <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Gaughan</span> out of her book, Knitting Nature. I wanted to finish this one quickly before the eighties trend is over. It fits me much better than I had expected with its unflattering shape. The wide band along the bottom really pulls it together. I would call it a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">successful</span> experiment in odd shapes, which is probably pretty rare, thanks Norah! <br /><br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-72075581712965120732008-01-21T20:43:00.000-08:002008-01-21T22:34:48.036-08:00Double Happiness<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhETKcbsSYqfZIPXkZok3vyQbodSQTKq3aHYiZOxW34djLpnMe44eR9nznjqYSv7zhBSa5N0B8Tx0x-YwDHfWBliB79fQmyrkQ8yQCrpv0tavShqredDhB9Bk1cfso6YnYokqoX2rr-Olw1/s1600-h/100_2393.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5158157200289730034" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhETKcbsSYqfZIPXkZok3vyQbodSQTKq3aHYiZOxW34djLpnMe44eR9nznjqYSv7zhBSa5N0B8Tx0x-YwDHfWBliB79fQmyrkQ8yQCrpv0tavShqredDhB9Bk1cfso6YnYokqoX2rr-Olw1/s320/100_2393.JPG" border="0" /></a> A few days after Christmas I was given the wonderful task of knitting this kimono jacket for a shop model for <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Borealis</span>. This is what it looked like Sunday morning, I finished it that day and will put it up in the store on Tuesday. Bruce has given me his approval as usual. It is a extravagant kit from Twisted Sisters-its like knitting with the rolls <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">royce</span> of yarns. The blue/brown is mohair (called "<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">mojo</span>") and in the green areas it is held with a rayon and cotton blend ("oasis"). It knit up fast on size 10 needles. The kimono was a nice reward after all that frantic <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">xmas</span> knitting. I am trying to finish up a few things before staring new tempting projects. There is an end in sight for my bubble sweater, hopefully you will see that this week.<br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-61191680269418129962008-01-16T18:04:00.000-08:002008-01-16T18:29:57.265-08:00Hello DollySo here it is-the creation for my little cousin, who dubbed her <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Nala</span>...I have a feeling that she recently watched the Lion King. It is so fun to knit the pentagons because they are worked from the outside in, they keep going faster and faster. I am making it out of Cascade 220 because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this 80's <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">rejuvenation</span>.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV9tIA3P9u5rfr7zb0QISWYH0narO5Mc1KTDeMHx_3FB6UFB7nsP7LvWbCmQGAOVpErVWJeb1vr5qmH-CPFThUp-OiSVSgIieDfaua0Hb6sX-2j1zzgA-Cefr9hxq1qD_s3GtWbDr0tSJi/s1600-h/100_2373.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5156261178386976226" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV9tIA3P9u5rfr7zb0QISWYH0narO5Mc1KTDeMHx_3FB6UFB7nsP7LvWbCmQGAOVpErVWJeb1vr5qmH-CPFThUp-OiSVSgIieDfaua0Hb6sX-2j1zzgA-Cefr9hxq1qD_s3GtWbDr0tSJi/s200/100_2373.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl5mO5pQnFjIrXr8F58e7XZjWgj16Awnd6gSarisErUMiXSzMKtaSncKQmXVZ-mdMMXpgJ_92rkgGG3JZdKaQ4un6oRaXPxq0RrXVX_0-eaugvVNO29LgfWnISB9oNqndO5hB_pzmIcCvj/s1600-h/100_2188.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5156261169797041618" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl5mO5pQnFjIrXr8F58e7XZjWgj16Awnd6gSarisErUMiXSzMKtaSncKQmXVZ-mdMMXpgJ_92rkgGG3JZdKaQ4un6oRaXPxq0RrXVX_0-eaugvVNO29LgfWnISB9oNqndO5hB_pzmIcCvj/s200/100_2188.JPG" border="0" /></a></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-62319805864187746762008-01-14T15:36:00.000-08:002008-01-14T15:54:44.219-08:00Two months later...again<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEdz83QPAGtdt-ai_iK0BrPKIxii2kSDU4usfUqI72uMSgJpfjVAr2TmoI17634amIelg8fHkLBHSFpZPRlFNLsrCjJ56AjUoi_RLIa1BETIsRDhg17F9ZKEZ4pHoEg5PH32oH8UgnP-Vf/s1600-h/100_2370.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155481087771970962" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEdz83QPAGtdt-ai_iK0BrPKIxii2kSDU4usfUqI72uMSgJpfjVAr2TmoI17634amIelg8fHkLBHSFpZPRlFNLsrCjJ56AjUoi_RLIa1BETIsRDhg17F9ZKEZ4pHoEg5PH32oH8UgnP-Vf/s200/100_2370.JPG" border="0" /></a> I had a successful gift giving <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Christmas</span>. It was a lot of fun to give gifts that I knew would be loved. This first picture is a little creepy but I find it hilarious. The girls at the yarn store joke about each other having knitting elves in their stash at home that finish all of their projects fast. This is as good as <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Bigfoot</span> footage! Call the national enquirer! No, wait, it's just a doll for the little cousin.<br />The gray socks are for my aunt. I am really glad I completed these because last year she only got one sock...until July! They are made out of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Raggi</span>-a worsted wool/nylon blend that is great for these last minute x-mas projects. That is what my uncle is modeling on his feet also. His socks are special, I put garter <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">stitch</span> on the bottom so they are super squishy and comfy. He has sore feet, to say the least, so I hope these make it a bit better.<br />And last but not least-especially not least in stitches- the finished Dr. Who Scarf! My uncle was very excited about wearing the scarf to his friends house where they watch the show together. I'm glad I followed the official pattern!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgve1XrBxH5SQQ2XEKPhlAsihcWiXTeppIMo7VVjzWjBTylUyqxEbZX76VCSmTikyKyMQwY33zMyLC4eD9CvBIxM6oCgsDz_Kd0qV3AJyq5rYXfmqsLXs9_KcPcxvJFTGmfk2PonIoJUZY7/s1600-h/100_2357.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155481096361905570" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgve1XrBxH5SQQ2XEKPhlAsihcWiXTeppIMo7VVjzWjBTylUyqxEbZX76VCSmTikyKyMQwY33zMyLC4eD9CvBIxM6oCgsDz_Kd0qV3AJyq5rYXfmqsLXs9_KcPcxvJFTGmfk2PonIoJUZY7/s200/100_2357.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinbYXY1jrYRtX32gliHmTSJmdvk3OFyabRmPlWb75o-7SSqR6WmsR4PErfdIKPPtrZMfs_fTBkfeklGkhYsqNpaDna7gYDgrAPpPob78ajZ0cdeioKfTP5WRUutRVBeq9i0Fg5deGEzVV_/s1600-h/100_2381.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155481100656872882" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinbYXY1jrYRtX32gliHmTSJmdvk3OFyabRmPlWb75o-7SSqR6WmsR4PErfdIKPPtrZMfs_fTBkfeklGkhYsqNpaDna7gYDgrAPpPob78ajZ0cdeioKfTP5WRUutRVBeq9i0Fg5deGEzVV_/s200/100_2381.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSASjD5yqurwVXtw0avd8JSs0PQWkJMiJHqRII5XB-2QexVKSA3obnE4fWWug7vi2TE0XnwwFKum8gLI7oSWKc1ra22PSoBpILTukNcPIJJT-_NNE1q0CkGO8Qh0gqbD7uKkcmerkAYNEM/s1600-h/100_2385.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155481104951840194" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSASjD5yqurwVXtw0avd8JSs0PQWkJMiJHqRII5XB-2QexVKSA3obnE4fWWug7vi2TE0XnwwFKum8gLI7oSWKc1ra22PSoBpILTukNcPIJJT-_NNE1q0CkGO8Qh0gqbD7uKkcmerkAYNEM/s200/100_2385.JPG" border="0" /></a>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-44309166449536541282007-11-04T09:08:00.000-08:002007-11-04T10:16:42.288-08:00Finally, I'm back<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAjEWRKZsRveAsKlhESbuaNtWvwdM-WCFhH3677Uzqedfcnen-2Wurm0fGt2aVO_lvaW9ECpJwm5HI8qv1w0spJBTkluQbAv2zwu0z6SUOh_kfIogzC2qSU-dsrCML8X_YK87QzVcfDsir/s1600-h/100_2230.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5129045975809909362" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAjEWRKZsRveAsKlhESbuaNtWvwdM-WCFhH3677Uzqedfcnen-2Wurm0fGt2aVO_lvaW9ECpJwm5HI8qv1w0spJBTkluQbAv2zwu0z6SUOh_kfIogzC2qSU-dsrCML8X_YK87QzVcfDsir/s200/100_2230.JPG" border="0" /></a> I know, I know... It's been forever since I made a blog entry. I moved last month and our <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">internet</span> wasn't up and working until yesterday. So I have an excuse- although not a good one. And of course I've still been knitting like crazy. I finished this baby bolero in just a few days. It's for some friends who just had a baby girl, I still haven't seen them yet because they live an hour away, but that's why I made it huge. The yarn is Cascade Sierra, a cotton and wool blend and the pattern is from Knitting Pure and Simple-which means I didn't have to sew it! These socks were fun to make too. The green one is for my dad's <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">xmas</span> present-so hopefully I will actually finish the second one-or least start it. It is made out of Silky Sock and Gems Pearl, the silk sock yarn is so nice to knit with. The red sock is made out of Dream in Color <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Smooshy</span>. The color is <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">chinatown</span> apple and the pattern is from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">DIC</span>, called sleepwalker socks. These ones are for me so you probably won't see the other one until next year. Well I will write more than once every two months-I hope! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7_ZMQWLoOONbJN3-lEl8dcGauWSGHjX9R7mKlwKluOPpDCWu49OMya9pG1mFt847NCixpYpxFwUuG2EHpWRCJ46YdW7IK-U2807W0AjTmH_SER83ibeKiue7X7HCxfra9G4Saj1ovIY-s/s1600-h/100_2232.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5129045988694811266" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7_ZMQWLoOONbJN3-lEl8dcGauWSGHjX9R7mKlwKluOPpDCWu49OMya9pG1mFt847NCixpYpxFwUuG2EHpWRCJ46YdW7IK-U2807W0AjTmH_SER83ibeKiue7X7HCxfra9G4Saj1ovIY-s/s200/100_2232.JPG" border="0" /></a>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-53778738229575497292007-09-23T20:20:00.000-07:002007-09-23T20:29:43.698-07:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcXu2gKoZ6mt9OtD5Aq5U44W9OyyeNBc0TrL-yxmuuvar7IFf88LslNphCsbaiGsvKG0QGYxHtZdb70ALl9xv0rMHrP-GWR2ETvIsnASXXB1Ylv0zcmM_DuimbbyzDGZhqXijQqg4xRRbi/s1600-h/100_2184.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5113605649801406610" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcXu2gKoZ6mt9OtD5Aq5U44W9OyyeNBc0TrL-yxmuuvar7IFf88LslNphCsbaiGsvKG0QGYxHtZdb70ALl9xv0rMHrP-GWR2ETvIsnASXXB1Ylv0zcmM_DuimbbyzDGZhqXijQqg4xRRbi/s200/100_2184.JPG" border="0" /></a> Check out the progress, can you believe it? Then you can also believe that I have been distracted by another new project. A really cute baby bolero for some friends of mine who just had a baby girl. Back to Dr Who-I have had a lot of help from friends to get the length on this scarf and they are even asking where it is to work on it some more. I could get all of my <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">xmas</span> knitting done this way. The yarn I'm using is Nature Spun Sport from Brown Sheep. It's inexpensive, comes in great colors and the websites for Dr Who recommend it.<br /><div></div>katherine coryellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524629899817120109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795660684161426376.post-38649255021557767662007-09-19T19:10:00.000-07:002007-09-19T19:17:01.706-07:00Dr Who Update<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghfgZ0tG-Qe206b9EI_-hMmtQAIIKTdbP6MlBO-6RQe2sV0QOCeSZXxb4MCosupDLSGshIPHNRG3XJYEsr3eETNhC_bWPZ5C-3vfOAzWuF29xgLgau-qHBeDRCb6NbewFL9YtbT0c9GJa1/s1600-h/100_2180.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5112103192586465490" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghfgZ0tG-Qe206b9EI_-hMmtQAIIKTdbP6MlBO-6RQe2sV0QOCeSZXxb4MCosupDLSGshIPHNRG3XJYEsr3eETNhC_bWPZ5C-3vfOAzWuF29xgLgau-qHBeDRCb6NbewFL9YtbT0c9GJa1/s200/100_2180.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Unfortunately</span> for you guys I am really excited every time this scarf grows so you might just see every painful moment!
